I also have peripheral neuropathy. I am not sue if I want to take allipurinal or not. The nurse praticioner did not give me some pain pills for the gout. Althogh last year my doctor in Albuquerque gavr me a prescription that stopped the pain and the emergency room gave me some type of shot that stopped the pain in minutes. What was it> I am not comfortablr with the nurse practicioner. She is a nice lady but from wat I am reading on line I am not sjure that taking it is a good idea. Shoul I consult with myh neurologist before i start takng it.
