At the moment, I’m afraid you cannot easily upload a photo to a comment. I will change this soon, so that it is very straightforward.

I will also make it easy to change the profile picture that is linked to the comment. For now, you can set it by creating a free account at Gravatar.

Thank you, GP. I did receive a new password from you and was able to log in. I am using Opera as my browser and try to change my profile using one of my own passwords. I’ll let you know .
By the way, are there any instructions anywhere on the forum of how to add a photo to a comment?

Login is controlled by a various methods that your browser uses to track what sites you are logged on to. Occasionally this information gets corrupted. The easiest way to clear this is to clear your cache & cookies. This varies but for:

Firefox: Tools - Clear Recent History. Ensure at least cookies, cache & active logins are selected.
Internet Explorer: Tools - Delete Browsing History. Ensure at least cookies & temporary Internet files are selected.

After clearing these, you should close the browser, and restart it.

I'll try to clear the block at the link included in that email. This explains the problem with registering - the password is sent by a computer generated message, so it really pays to add goutpal.com to your whitelist (also known as an approved list)

First, you do not need to be registered to join in the forum. It is easier for you if you are, but you can still start discussions and join in if you are not registered.

Some email providers apply very strong filters on the email. It might be that the password has ended up in your spam box. To avoid this, you can add goutpal.com to your list of allowed domains. If you need to allow specific addresses, rather than whole domains, the email comes from goutpal at the aforementioned domain.

Make sure this address is added to your "whitelist", then request a new password.

I am a gout sufferer who would like to partake in the forum but cannot get a password. I have several times tried to log in and have been told i would get a new password by email, but i never get one. What can i do to be able to long in and participate? Thanks
