I have a walking friend [ a Herbalist] who has discussed gout with me along 'the trail' and his site has a section on Gout readers may find helpful.

I agree with his statement about taking care with natural remedies- it's sensible to remember a lot of medicines are based on them and in some cases maybe of unknown doseage when self administered.

Most people are sensible about their health and bodily comfort, though and really don't need the Nanny State interfering, as they are wont to do.

If only they were as interested in medicine side effects!
