Having added the useful 'Log In' function on the floating box a while back – would it be possible to add a 'Log Out' button there also?

I have to go back into the forum to do this – no great duty but not ideal ,as I usually finish on the Home Page.

Also, after logging in- I  sometimes find that the reply box is still in the guest mode, specifically in IE8 -  but OK in Firefox.

Good idea. I need to upgrade this forum to the latest version, and I'll try and include it. Should have been last weekend, but a technical issue held me back (as usual)

The time lag from logging in to getting all the member benefits is probably a timing issue. I've noticed a delay at the end of loading pages sometimes and this might cause the issue.

The workround, is to click cancel, F5 to refresh, then reply again.

For a permanent solution, I'm hoping this will be faster when I upgrade the forum software – if not, I'll do a serious review of some other features, and try to reduce the load.
