I have grown GoutPal.com over the past 2 years to be amongst the top 20 gout sites in the world. I am also proud of my Alexa ranking over the past few months, which places me in the top 1% of all websites.

None of this would be possible without you.

More important than the rankings and visitor numbers are the personal messages I’ve received. Your feedback has helped me look for gout information that I might never have thought about. I’ve learned a lot, and I continue to learn and pass my findings on to you.

To get the most out of this, I need to make GoutPal.com more interactive. Though I’ve added a form of blog, voting, comment forms and a newsletter, none of these has been straightforward. Some are difficult for you to use (e.g. commenting on pages has been awkward). This part of the website (recognized by the hyphen in Gout-Pal.com) makes it much easier to swap opinions.

It’s going to take a few days to get Gout Pal Interactive fully up and running. I’ll launch it properly in my next issue of GoutCaster (due January 1st 2007). Over the next month or so I’ll be making comment and voting forms more widely available and adding many more features.

Let me know what you think - all you have to do is type a comment in the box below.
