And PKD. 15% kidney function and perhaps months away from dialysis. And now I've got gout. For a few years awhile back, I took Allopurinol, just on the lark that it would slow down cyst formation. I don't think it did, but I didn't have gout. Somewhere along the way with my bunch of other prescriptions, Allopurinol fell off my list. That was probably a costly oversight. I'm really horrible about following diets. I realize this could kill me once I'm on dialysis. I don't really feel like folding yet another list of restrictions into the mix.
