Thanks Theresa,

Any doctor that dismisses gout as "a rich old mans disease" is a doctor to stay clear of.

There are thousands of gout suffering readers of this site (and GoutPal.com) who are neither rich, old, or male.

I have been dealing with an incredible pain in my left big toe for 5 months I have seen 3 doctors and all of their diagnoses have been wrong so I decided to investigate and cure myself, your web site has convinced me that I have gout, but since I am a woman and only 38 my doctor does not agree, so for the last 3weeks I have taken all of the info on your site and applied it and for 2weeks now I have not had the pain I was dealing with, I have changed my diet, eating more antioxidant foods, staying away from coffee creamer and other things that i was putting in my body everyday that was aggravating it, and what a difference! it just upsets me that doctors do not believe a younger woman could have this. They have told me its a rich old mans disease. But not one ask what my diet consist of and after reading your site no wonder I have it. Thanks so much for you info GREAT SITE!
