    So far I'm having great success .. My Doc's scrip is 1 month colchicne, followed by 1 month colchicine and 300 mg allopurinol , then just allopurinol… so far 1 1/2 months in to it . i have 4.3 UA level ..and no pain… every once in a while just a slight tingle in my toes.. but nothing big…yahhhoo

    If I read you right you have taken the allopurinol for 2 weeks and got a 4.3 SUA. Good going!
