Uloric has saved my life. i was in so much gout and arthritis pain. i have been taking this new drug for about 1 month and have not had one flare up. i used to have at least one flare up a week. the only thing i have changed is the medication.
That's good, but it is not a painkiller, it is meant for lowering uric acid.
Have you had a blood test to ensure that it is keeping your uric acid level below 6mg/dL? If not, then it is just a waste of time.
Just had a meeting with my doc to talk about my progress with Uloric. My URIC acid was at 6! This was after approx 4 months of 80mg. I have tophus in various locations and a very large one on my knee is gone. My doctor is excited and so am I.
Forgot to mention in my previous post that my URIC acid was in the 8 to 10 range for more then 20 years.
